Not 30%. Effective discount = 100 − (0.8 × 0.9 × 100) = 28%.
How do I find the original price from a sale price?
Original = Sale ÷ (1 − d/100). For a ₹700 item bought at 30% off: 700 ÷ 0.7 = ₹1,000.
